Mary Lacasse Obituary

NEWPORT NEWS - Mary Suzanne Zadai Lacasse, 67, returned to her heavenly home on June 19, 2016, after a valiant battle with a long illness. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her in her struggle and ultimately gave her peace. Preceded in death by her parents, Ronald and Norma Zadai and brother, Stephen Zadai. Survivors include her beloved husband of 47 years, Ronald Lacasse. Sue is survived by her children, Shane (Robyn), Jessica (James) and two grandchildren, Zachary and Brooke. She leaves behind siblings; Tim Zadai (Anne), Debbie Porter (Ray), Michael Zadai (Terri), Sheryl Gaerlan, Trudy Zadai and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and devoted friends. Words cannot describe her love for her family and others, nor adequately describe this kind-hearted, beautiful woman. Sue was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be deeply missed. Her loving memory will forever bring a smile to the faces of her family and friends. The family will welcome friends to honor Sue's memory for a Celebration of Life Memorial on Saturday, July16th at 4PM at Peninsula Vineyard Christian Fellowship, Yorktown.
