Mitch Houff Obituary
He lived in Hampton, Virginia and is survived by his wife Deborah (Debbie) Atkinson Houff and her children, Lauren and Adam Emory; siblings, and their spouses, Lynda and William Evers, Keith and Sarah Houff, Bruce and Vickie Houff; beloved nieces and nephews, Elaine, Emily, Adam, Todd and Sarah Lynn, and their spouses and children; cousins, Steve and Joyce Houff, Bradley and Carol Houff, D. Michael and Joyce Houff, and their families.
Mitch cherished times hunting, fishing, cooking and traveling with family and friends. He enjoyed life and was known for being quite a jokester. Mitch worked in the pest control business, for over 30 years, throughout the Hampton Roads area. He also spent time, as a contractor, in Iraq and Afghanistan. Mitch attended HarborPointe Community Church in Hampton.
A Celebration of Life Service, and interment, will be held the morning of Saturday, June 24th, 11:00, at Thornrose Cemetery, Staunton, Virginia. The Reverend D. Michael Houff will officiate.

I remember Mitch with affection from his time as a member of Yorkminster Presbyterian Church. We served together on the first mission team sent by Yorkminster to bring medical care and build houses for the indigenous people of Honduras. May God bring you peace and ease your grief.
