Nancy Gundersen Obituary

Nancy Jane Gundersen, 67, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021. She was born April 26, 1954 in Boudreaux, France. She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Marc Gundersen and father, David Fryer. She brought joy and kindness into the lives of everyone she knew and never knew a stranger. Her heart was full while spending time with her family on vacation in Nags Head, decorating for Christmas and gardening. Most of all, she loved being the best Nana to her grandchildren. Left to cherish her memory: children, Craig, Melissa(Chris), Lindsay(Daniel); grandchildren, Hannah, Noah, Luke, Taylor; mother, Barbara Jean; siblings, Dean, Cindy, Belinda, Keith, David; many nieces and nephews; and friends who became like family. A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, May 10, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Hogg Funeral Home, 3098 George Washington Memorial Highway, Hayes Va 23072. Masks are required for entry and social distancing will be mandatory. Services under the direction of Hogg Funeral Home.
