I pray for the family to trust God, and to love and support each other. Rev. Penny's spirit of love and kindness was a magnet for me. Visits to cheer her were her ministering to me. Miss. Penny was tiny in statue, very humble but her worshipful spirit was always a comfort to me. We will always remember her at the Memorial Day cookout leading the pray to to remember deceased loved ones. Now, God has called her home but memory of her loving spirit is with me/us.

I am thankful that she spent time with me and my family and giving us affirmations daily. I am priviledged to have known someone who made such great use of her time for the betterment of all mankind. To the Family of Sister Penny Dennis,

I knew Sister Dennis for over ten years and worked with her on voter registration in York County for the NAACP. Sister Dennis was a wonderful woman, kind, and with a sweet spirit. I was always inspired after talking with her and visiting her. I know her lovely spirit will continue to watch over us until we see her again. Family, be comforted in her memory.

I just learned of Sister Dennis' passing just now and am greatly saddened by the news. I am new to Virginia as of last September. I met Sister Penny through my boyfriend who is the Tab Library Chairman board member. Sister Penny was also on the Board so I got to meet her. We went to visit her a couple of times and found I found Sister Penny to be the Most Delightful woman! Also knowing we were sister in the Lord was added frosting on the cake. I will miss her Vibrant and Loving spirit but I know I will see her again so not all is lost. Thank You Sister Penny for your hugs and sweet words to me! Until we meet again, Sing Alelujia!!

To Family of Sister Penney Dennis

Words cannot express my sorrow in the passing of Sister Dennis. She has been so many things to me and for me. She was my own spiritual counselor, pastor, teacher, friend, advisor, prayer partner and toward the end of her life (after I lost my mom) she filled in for my mom. I will miss her more that you will ever know. May our God bless you all during your bereavement.
