Richard was a dear friend: loving, helpful, gentle, wise, warm, and thoughtful. I will never forget how he just showed up to help me move one Saturday in Denbigh.
I have been so blessed to have known him.
He will always reside among my happy memories.

Dear Aunt Mary, John, Shannon, Evan, Homer, Andrew and entire family,
We are so very sorry for the loss of your loving husband, father, stepfather and grandfather.
Uncle Richard was always so friendly at all our family get togethers.
One of my fondest and earliest memories of Uncle Richard, was with his brothers, twin Uncle Wallace, and Steve, the three of them singing opera together, and harmonizing so beautifully, resounding throughout the house from the basement they were singing in. I'd never heard such strong singing voices. It was quite memorable for me as a child. They were all blessed with great voices!
We were all blessed to know him and I know he was blessed with your loving care all the way through to the end of this life. Hopefully, there will be a cure for Parkinson's Disease someday soon! I'm so sorry Uncle Richard was affected so severely.

It was a pleasure having Dr. Beauchamp as one of my professors at Christopher Newport University. He was tough, but fair and highly knowledgeable in both Philosophy and Religion.Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Dr. Beauchamp was a "natural" when it came to teaching. I've often credited him with my strong understanding of the principles of logic and of general philosophies. I hope I've been able to pass on much of what he taught me decades ago.
