Hi Dad

May 30th 2016. was our day, But the mission was not complete . I didn't have you around to reflect on the life of a service man.i wanted to say thank you,for your sacrifice and your commitment to your family and your country, by keeping us safe we was able to carry on the torch. You was the motivation that guided the rest of the men in this family to serve with the same dedication, commitment and the willingness to sacrifice for our family's and country. I miss you dad, so much. As we use to say in the Army give me the torch (Dad) i will take it from here. Love you dad.

I've been thinking, Dad,

about all the times you believed in me

when I didn't even believe in myself.

Times you've understood me when

I was so difficult to understand.

The times you've encouraged me

when I needed it most.

But more than these things, Daddy,

I've been thinking about the unfailing

love which has followed me through

all the stages of my life...

And I just want to let you know

that I think you are

"The Greatest Daddy in the Whole World "

and that I love you very, very much. You enriched my life more than I can ever express. Until we meet again Daddy.

Grandpa I just wanted to say that I love you and miss you.you were such a strong man and you always handled your business like a man .you were always there for me no matter what it was. It hurts that you are gone but I am happy because I know you are in a better place . You were a fighter all your life and you fought till the end that is why I am proud to call you my grandfather. A man that I will miss for the rest of my life may you rest in peace.

Read this to Mom.

Reflecting back on the events of the past week and a half , I have thought a lot about the last 22 years that my father in law has been a part of my life . No one in my life has taught me more about what was important like working hard , being honest and most important of all Family ! Nothing was more important to him than that ! He had a giant heart and always told me that he loved everybody !, regardless of his sometimes hard exterior love and family meant everything to him . So reflecting back on my life , my step father did not teach me or ever explain anything about life , love or family ? So saying that I've realized that if I had a father I would've wanted one just like my father in law ! Richard Lee Loar Sr. To him I say this . : I Love and will miss you DAD !
