Dick signed me on with Nav Aud in 1972. He took great care of new hires and was always available to answer questions and offer a helping hand. I was fortunate to know him and benefit from his early guidance and support.

The battle is over, Dick, and you fought the good fight. I remember your words of advice when I arrived at NavAud HQ in 1984. Thanks for your support. Semper Fi!

Dick will always be special to me as he hired me in 1972 and treated me equally in a mostly male work environment at that time. Our paths crossed over the years professionally and he was an unofficial "mentor". Hats off to a trail blazer who was ahead of the pack. God speed Dick.
