Rick John Hinrichs

Rick John HINRICHS Rick John Hinrichs, age 48, passed quietly away on July 27, 2003. Dear and beloved husband of Chris Hinrichs and a generous loving stepfather to David, 23 and Amanda, 20 Hawkinson. Rick is also survived by his two wonderful nephews, Christian, 14 and Matthew, 12, Chambers; his sister, Randi Chambers; brother, Robin Hinrichs; and father, L.R. (Vegas) Hinrichs. Rick was preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn Hinrichs. Growing up in Tacoma, Rick graduated in 1973 from Lakes High School and later from WSU in 1978, going on the earn his CPCU designation. Rick enjoyed a long career in the Insurance Industry, but closest to his heart was his involvement in insurance education, particularly his association with Washington State University and the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of Washington. His fun loving appreciation of science fiction and fantasy were well known to his friends and family. Time now to walk down the yellow brick road. Memorials may be made in Rick's name to the charity of your choice. Memorial Services will be held, Saturday, August 9, 2003. Family may be contacted for further information.
