Robert Barab Obituary
He was the beloved husband of Trilla Ramage of Hampton, Va.; father of Sasha Barab of Bloomington, Ind.; and son of the late Lucille and Robert C. Barab Sr.
Robert was born in Wilmington, Del., on Dec. 3, 1942. An artist, he was an award-winning fine art photographer, who traveled the world to find beauty and share it through his images: www.robertbarab.com. Prior to his career in photography, he was also an award-winning jewelry designer and maker. A graduate of Goddard College with a BA in creative writing, and at the time of his death, he was completing a novel.
He is survived by his wife and son, as well as two brothers, Peter Barab of Portland, Org., and Drew Barab of Denver, Colo.; daughter-in-law, Anna Arici Barab and grandsons, Julian Barab, Andrew Barab and Trey Barab, all of Bloomington,
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, at the Porte Fellowship Hall, St. James United Methodist Church, 1533 W. Queen St., Hampton, VA 23669. Services will be private.

Dear Trilla and family of Robert, my deepest sympathy on the passing of Robert. I never had the opportunity of meeting him as Catherine did but she told us of his talent (which I see in his gallery), the beauty of his photos, and the joy of love you shared together. I have no words to express how deeply sorry I am to hear about the loss of your beloved Robert. When a loved one is taken home all we can do is trust in the Lord. He understands our sorrow and He will always be there. Hold on to the wonderful memories and time shared with Robert. Be blessed.

To Trilla and the Family of Robert Barab, I am very sorry to hear of Robert's death. I used to work for a business where Robert bought some of the frames he used on his beautiful photography. It was always a pleasure to hear of his travels and projects and to see his latest photos. What a talented photographer he was, and such a nice person. Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss. I am sorry he is gone.

Hi Mrs. Trilla. I pray that you are doing well during this time. Remember to stay strong and always keep God first. You can never go wrong in any situation as long as you trust and believe in the goodness of the Lord. Unfortunately i have to work at my second job after i leave trg so i will not be able to attend the services this afternoon. As long as you keep Robert in your heart, he will always be with you.
