What a wonderful person and teacher she was!In the mid-50's Ruth Gresham was my 5th grade teacher and one of the best ever! We also knew she loved the Lord and it was ok to say so in those days.

As my 5th grade teacher in 1970, Mrs. Gresham went beyond being a top notch educator and was also a mentor, nurturer, and role model. She had a way of finding each of our strengths and encouraging us, thereby earning our devotion. Twelve years later, while taking a friend's child to school, she stopped me in the hall, called me by name, and asked if I was still writing! I was astounded she remembered. Stunned, I turned to another teacher who advised, "Mrs. Gresham always remembers her students." I suspect that, with the impact she made on her students, they remember her as well. I offer my condolences to her family.

Mrs. Gresham was my 6th grade teacher at Copeland Park School in 1955-1956. She had a very positive influence on me. I remember her and recognized her name as soon as I saw her obituary. My prayers are with her family at their lost, but I know there is celebration as she has joined her family members and her Savior in Heaven.

Ruth was a beautiful lady - inside and out. She had such a sweet spirit and was filled with love and kindness towards others. She will be greatly missed but we know that she is rejoicing with her Lord right now. My prayers are with her family. God bless you with His perfect peace and comfort.
