My condolences go to the family. It was great working for and with SGM Ken Deskins in Viet Nam, and Fort Eustis over many years. He was a positive force in getting things accomplished.

Kenny, it was truly my honor to have served with you during several tours at Ft. Eustis between 1969 - 1977; have also been a member of the Transportation Lodge as well as a fellow Khedive Shriner, although we never sat in lodge or the shrine center together. You were definitely a person to admire and respect! You kept us junior officers in line for the big boss. Then after both of us retire you assist me with getting an audience back in the Aviation Logistics School to present some potential products for Army Aviation. Our paths did cross many times and for that I feel fortunate and blessed. May God Bless you and keep you my friend, Brother and Noble until we meet again.
Hand Salute SGM Deskins.
