Spencer Hardy Obituary

SURRY - Spencer C. Hardy, 54, departed this life on Monday, May 30, 2005, at his home. A life long resident of Surry County, he was preceded in death by his adopted mother Selena F. Scott. He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother Pattie H. White of Hampton; his father, Daniel Taliaferro; two sisters Linda Baker of Smithfield and Earlean Hill of Norfolk; four special cousins Kathleen Didy, Frances Dildy, Tamekia Dildy and Corey Scott all of Surry. Funeral services will be held noon Thursday, June 2 at First Gravel Hill Baptist Church 5230 Old Stage Highway, Smithfield. Interment will be in Mount Ray Cemetery. Viewing from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Poole's Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service Thursday at the Church. Arrangements by Poole's Funeral Home (757) 357-4742.
