Vane Seay Obituary

HAMPTON - Vane Melvin Seay, 66, died Monday, Oct. 19, 2009, at Sentara Careplex, Hampton.
He received his education in Hampton City Schools. He later moved to New York, where he lived for more than 50 years. After retiring four years ago, he returned to Hampton, Va.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Linwood and Louise Seay; brothers, William, Junius, Theodore, Bernard, Clarence and George Seay; and sisters, Mattie Carloes and Gladys McNair.
Left to cherish his love and fond memories is his brother Lloyd Seay; sister, Catherine Redcross; and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 26, 2009, at Morning Star Baptist Church, Hampton.
