A wonderful lady. I grew up near her and Alvin in the house they built in Red Point Heights. I had not seen her for so long, But I thought of her every time I walked past the housestill do! I grew up knowing her family and still remember that wonderful smell of printer’s ink in the newspaper office. Times pass, but memories remain.

To me, Virginia Dillon was a blessing, an angel who raised and cared for my younger brother, a mother who kept him safe and well-loved. I will always remember Mrs. Dillon as a compassionate, benevolent, sweet woman with an even kinder heart. With condolences and sympathy to her family may her memory keep their hearts full of tender happiness in this time of sorrow.

Virginia was one of the most grace-filled, loving and faithful members of Hilton Baptist Church. She leaves behind a legacy of piano students though whom the music of her life will continue for generations to come!

Best Aunt and kindest person ever. She was definitely the gentler and more practical side of the duo that was her brother, Glenn, and herself. She had flashes of humor that would set off a chuckle in her and a twinkle in her eye. She radiated joy in her infectious smile. My prayers for Uncle Alvin and the rest of our family who must adjust to her departure. God has yet another angel. If one must have only one aunt, I was blessed knowing her as mine.

We meet Virginia and AL because of Alpacas and we got to know both of them. Virginia was always very nice to us and such a fine lady. She will be missed by everyone.
