Wilbert HALL Obituary
He was born on Nov. 22, 1931, in Newport News, Va., to Wilbert C. Hall Sr. and Ruth Rebecca Hall.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Wilbert C. and Rebecca Hall; sister, Arnita Hall Simmons and Brother Charles A Hall Sr.
Wilbert was a proud member of the Postal Services for 30 years and Director of Retiree's for 18 years.
A veteran and family man, he is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years, Lelia Yvonne Hall; one son, David K. Hall (Dana); two granddaughters, Kelsey Hall and Kayla Hall all of Richmond, Va.; one sister, Annie Mae Davis of Newport News; a special niece, Denise Harris; and sister-in-law and special brother-in-law, Olethia and Kenneth Barbour. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, sister and brother-in-laws.
Funeral services will be held June 19, 2010, at The Six House, 2003 Kecoughtan Rd., Hampton, Va. Viewing will be held from noon to 6 p.m. Friday, June 18, 2010, at the funeral home.

My condolences to Yvonne and the rest of Wilbert's family. I have know Wilbert for 27 years, and I enjoyed every minute I spent with him. He was one of the best friends I have ever had, he was a co worker, union brother, shop steward, mentor, fellow union officer, even a father figure. He accomplished many things in his life as a Postal worker, a union member, and Director of Retirees for NALC Branch 609. My only regret is that I didn't spend enough time with him when his health was failing. I will remember him always, and I will continue to learn from the example he set as a human being.
