Sherry Padalino Obituary

Sherry Lee Padalino, of Ruckersville, passed away suddenly on February 8, 2024. She was born on January 24, 1949, in Syracuse, N.Y., to the late LeRoy and Beverly Clark. She was the oldest of three children and was preceded in death by her sister, Gail, and is survived by her brother, Leigh and his wife Mardanne.

Sherry is survived by her two daughters, Terry Beigie and her husband Neil, of Ruckersville, and Sandy Gefrich and her husband David, of Wilmington, N.C. In addition to her daughters, Sherry is survived by five grandchildren: Juliet Holt and husband Jonathan, of Middletown, Va.; Josephine Gefrich and fiance Logan Mack, of Wilmington, N.C.; Devin Karnes and finance Clara Mizula, of Richmond, Va.; Alex Gefrich, of Richmond; and Genevieve Gefrich, of Wilmington. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and two special friends, Sharon Waldruff and Cyndy Parsons, both of New York.

The family appreciates all the support from friends and family. Per Sherry's wishes, the service will be private.

I SO miss her chats we had almost Daily since we reconnected,,,,she was a wonderful person,,,she made me 2 of her fabulous doilies, which I will cherish for ever as they remind me of her talents and generosities,,,,MISS YOU SO MUCH Sherry. We used to meet after lunch at Baker in the basement at the Apple machine way back in the mid 60's,,,chat and laugh and waited for our next classes,,,RIP my friend....RIP.
