Hugh Edward Weaver

Hugh Edward Weaver, 80 of Oak Park, VA, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at Autumn Care in Madison, VA. He was born on November 4, 1943 to the late Mayette Edward Weaver and Thelka Suddith Weaver. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Iva Maxine Dixon Weaver.

He was a graduate of Madison County High School and retired from VDOT. Hugh was a long-time member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He enjoyed mowing grass and a good meal.

He is survived by nieces, Patty O'Donnell and Ann Mason, both of Oak Park, VA; nephew, Billy Mason of West VA; a very special friend "daughter", Donna Dyer and husband David of Oak Park, VA.

A graveside service will be held at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, with Pastor Wayne Carney officiating.

We would like to thank all of the staff at Autumn Care for the love and kindness given to Hugh. Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, c/o Billy Nicholson, 5863 North Seminole Trail, Brightwood, VA 22715.
