Christian "Chris" Delmar Wilson, of Unionville/Rhoadesville, passed away at McGuire Hospital, Richmond, on Thursday, February 11, 2021, at the age of 76. Chris was born on July 3, 1944, at the family farm in Mine Run, Va.
He was a veteran of the Armed Forces, having served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War.
Chris is survived by his loving wife, Regina Wilson; a daughter, Jennifer O'Neil Wilson Bryington and husband, Adam Bryington; a son, Kevin Wade Wilson; and his grandchildren, Virginia and James Bryington and Austin and Hannah Wilson. He also leaves behind a brother, Grover Wilson(Linda); sister, Rose Jones(Wayne); as well as many extended family members that loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by a son, Delmar James Wilson.
A visitation was held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, at Johnson Funeral Home, Locust Grove. A funeral service followed at the funeral home chapel at 1 p.m., officiated by the Reverend Jeffrey Smith. Interment followed at Salem United Methodist Church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund. An online guestbook is available at johnsoncares.com.
