Ralph Allen, 90, of Keswick, died Thursday, January 17, 2019, at his residence. Born March 28, 1928 in Louisa County, he was the son of the late William Allen and Sarah Allen. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Irene Lee Allen and a son, Ralph Allen. Mr. Allen is survived by three daughters, Portia Fitch, Rheva Allen, Mary Tyler and husband, Kenneth; two sons, Stevie Allen, Ralph Goffney and wife, Barbara; six grandchildren, Shantisha, Randall, Robin, Leighcoya, Harrison, J.D.; thirteen grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives; and two devoted friends, June Holley and Tom Beasley. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at Union Grove Baptist Church in Keswick, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
