Billy Clemmer Obituary

Billy Lynwood Clemmer, 76, of Staunton, formerly of Charlottesville, died Monday, April 23, 2007.

Born October 5, 1930, in Augusta County, he was the son of the late Marvin Baylor and Ada Eve Beed Clemmer, and was the husband of the late Nancy Ruth Clemmer.

Mr. Clemmer was a retired heavy equipment operator.

He is survived by two daughters, Gloria Wright and her husband, Bob, and Brenda Knox; two sons, Michael Chidester and his wife, Gloria, and Larry Clemmer and his wife, Pam; 12 grandchildren, Jennifer, Kristi and Stacy Clemmer, Shannon, Adam and Joshua Chidester, Brian Wood, Heather and Christy Wright, Bridgett, Brian and Evan Chidester; and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, April 28, 2007, at the Teague Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Roger Browning officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m. Friday, April 27, 2007, at the Teague Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimers Association, 1807 Seminole Trail, Suite 204, Charlottesville, VA 22901.
