My deepest sympathy! Deacon Churchman was a wonderful person. I will miss seeing him at church. We all enjoyed how he taught Sunday School. He also served as a Trustee. He was so kind and had a wonderful sense of humor. Gone too soon, but I thank God for many wonderful years. Praying for the family, that you have peace and comfort during this difficult time. Mr. Churchman was a neighbor. He always had a smile & something nice to say. I said hello to him and his friends if they were sitting on the porch. Such a nice person.

The one memory I have of him is meeting him at Nats and mine's Wedding. From the first conversation I knew this was a man to respect, I knew he was a man that loves his family more then anything, A man that reminded me of how my Grandpa was! He was and is a great man forever and always, the world will shine on for what he has taught his family, to love life and always have a great time! My love goes out to the Churchman family and I'm honored to have met such a great man! I'm here for all of you and sending love and prayers for this time!

My heart still aches deeply when I think about David no longer being with us and how much pain his family is feeling. He was such a kind, courteous, caring, God-fearing man. My only comfort is in knowing David is in Heaven and occupying a prominent place on the throne. Rest in Paradise, Peace, and Power, dear David. I pray his dear Carolyn and the entire Churchman Family feel the comfort and peace from knowing the Lord's arms are around them.

I met Dave when the kids from Jefferson went to Burley in the eight grade. He was the most likable and easy to get to know person that you could meet. We had a l lot of fun and adventures together. Eastham has lost another member of the family. It seemed like just yesterday when we all would gather at a neighborhood house and turn up the music and start cooking. It would be an unplanned and family oriented house party. David was there with the comedic stories and historical tea.
There's going to be one heck of a reunion on the other side. Rest in peace David and say hey to "Hayfoot".
