I worked at UVa for over 32 years before I retired in 2011. I remember David as such a good man. He could always be counted on to get things fixed when needed. He always had a smile on his face and a pleasant personality. I remember when he was going through dialysis which he would do on his lunch hour and be back to work in the afternoon. I also remember when his son donated a kidney to him and thought what a wonderful family he must have. A truly great man has been lost.
