Dolly Marie Morris, 76, of Charlottesville, formerly of Stanardsville, passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2021, surrounded by her family.

She was born on November 27, 1944, in Stanardsville, the daughter of the late Claude Jackson Breeden and Hilda Gray Breeden. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Earl Breeden and Carroll Davis Breeden.

Dolly retired from Comdial after many years of service.

She is survived by a daughter, Carol Ann Hunt of Charlottesville; sisters, Frances Snow and husband, Delma, and Norma Breeden and husband, Shirley, all of Stanardsville; grandchildren, Curtis Mundie and wife, Lindsey, of Ruckersville, Katelyn Marie Hunt and husband, Donald Lawhorn, of Crozet; great-grandchildren, Zoey Ann Lawhorn, Julia Marie Lawhorn, Kaiya Marie Mundie; special great-nephew, W. J. Lamb of Stanardsville; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Madison with interment in Holly Memorial Gardens, in Charlottesville, conducted by Pastor Wendell Lamb. The family will receive friends one hour before the service from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

We are so sorry to hear about Dolly . We didn't see her often but always thought a lot of her . She will be missed . Our prayers are with the family at this time .We will not make it to her going away celebration due to circumstances beyond our control ,but will be thinking about all of you . Love , Dink & Kay
