Edward Clore Obituary
Edward Bennett Clore Jr., 91 of Madison, passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at his home. He was born on January 12, 1930, to the late Edward Bennett Clore Sr. and Isabelle Victoria Lohr Clore. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Mildred Clore Berrey and Carolyn Clore Turner.
Edward was former president and part-owner in the Clore Furniture Company. He was a life member of the Madison County Volunteer Fire Company.
He is survived by his wife, Katherine Elizabeth Taylor Clore; stepson, Vincent Hensley of Elkton, Va.; and step-grandson, Shannon Hensley of Port Republic, Va.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, October 29, 2021, at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Madison. Pastor Jason Darty will officiate.
