Eunice Bingler Sacre, (88), of Charlottesville went home to the Lord on November 8, 2025. Eunice was born October 31, 1937, in Charlottesville, Va. She was the daughter of the late Frank Bingler and Florence Morris. Eunice was preceded in death by her son, Howard Keith Sacre; her sisters, Bertha Lee Cambell and Betty Payne. Eunice worked as a clerk for the University of Virginia Police Department for 35 years. She was a member of South Side Christian Church and then Cherry Avenue Christian Church. She enjoyed reading the bible, working puzzles and word find. She loved spending time with her family. Eunice is survived by her children, Joe Sacre and his wife, Debbie, Beverly Shield; grandchildren, Bryan Sacre and his wife, Lauren, Nicole Sacre, Candace Morris and husband, David, Caitlyn Sacre, Josh Gardner and his wife, Katie; sister, Hazel Parrish and husband, Charlie, and many other extended family members; great grandchildren, Jenna Gardner, Addison Morris, Makenzie Morris, Elly Sacre, Tucker Booth, Mariella Gardner, Colleen Gardner and Saoirse Gardner.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 14, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Holly Memorial Gardens 3251 Seminole Trail, Charlottesville, VA 22911. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Hospice of the Piedmont. Condolences may be shared at Teague Funeral Service website.
