Great times with the Gilbert family and with the Invaders. I can only hope all of our lives keep moving to peaceful places as Gilbert's surely has. I have so many great memories of our times together and think of them often. Love to you all, family and friends in kind.

Uncle Gilbert made me laugh - even this summer! Our son, Drake (Emerson's grandson), was lucky enough to know him, and, like Gilbert, makes music and is fond of frogs! We will miss him.

My love and prayers to the family,
of my former husband Gilbert Roberts.
You were the greatest, kindest, fun loving, adventurous, hardest working
man I have ever known.
Such a loving person, miss so much. My family sends their love from Tucson, AZ. Our hearts are so sad, but our
precious memories are forever.

I am sorry to learn of Gilbert's passing. He was the first student I met as an eight grader and a good friend through all our years at Albemarle High. He was a talented musician and he had a great sense of humor. My thoughts are with his mother who was always welcoming and kind to all of Gilbert's friends.
