Uncle Gilbert made me laugh - even this summer! Our son, Drake (Emerson's grandson), was lucky enough to know him, and, like Gilbert, makes music and is fond of frogs! We will miss him.

I am sorry to learn of Gilbert's passing. He was the first student I met as an eight grader and a good friend through all our years at Albemarle High. He was a talented musician and he had a great sense of humor. My thoughts are with his mother who was always welcoming and kind to all of Gilbert's friends.
