Glen Marshall Obituary
Glen was a devoted father and friend always willing to lend a helping hand. He was a practical and humble man who didn't ask for much. He was a skilled carpenter by profession, known for his dedication and hard work.
He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family watching multiple sporting events and was always happy to make a friendly wager. Glen was known to be quick-witted and loved a good laugh or joke. He never met a stranger and could always be found with his friends at his favorite "hang outs" with a cold beer in his hand.
Glen will be deeply missed by those that knew and loved him.
Glen is survived by his mother Mary Berry; daughter Maria Barnes and husband Mike, daughter Haley Marshall; siblings Marion, Cheryl, Cecelia, Scott, and Stacy; his three grandchildren Dallas, Blake and Madison Barnes and his nephew Michael Davis.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects to the family on Tuesday, January 9th from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hill & Wood in Charlottesville, VA.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 10th at 1 p.m. at Spring Hill Baptist Church in Ruckersville, VA.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Glens family and friends I'm so glad that I knew him I worked with him almost everyday at UVA and learned so much from him he was truly a master of his craft and I feel very fortunate that he was willing to share that with me he will be greatly missed

Glen was a great guy, and friend. He was practically a legend at UVA, and will be greatly missed by all here who new him. I was lucky to have known him well. Many bets and cold beers together. My condolences to his family and may He rest in peace.

GLEN WAS MY CLIENT DUE TO COME IN THIS WEEK FOR ME TO SET HIS MEDICARE STUFF UP. HE HAS DEALT WITH ME FOR YEARS I WAS SHOCKED TO SEE THIS.I WILL MISS HIM COMING IN --THOUGHTS ,PRAYERS WITH HIS FAMILY
