Isabelle Norman Obituary
Isabelle was born May 20, 1929, in Charlottesville, Virginia, to the late James A. Mason Sr. and Glendora J. Mason.
Besides her parents, Isabelle was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest B. Norman; a dearly loved grandson, Edward F. Brooks; two brothers, James A. Mason Jr. and Raymond W. Mason; and two sisters, Vernice M. Jackson and Molly L. Mason.
Surviving to cherish the loving and joyous memories of Isabelle are a daughter, Rose B. Brown; two granddaughters, Becki H. Roberson and Shonda I. Howard -Moore; an adopted daughter, Jo Ann M. Walker; two brothers, Lewis L. Mason and Charles E. Mason, both of Charlottesville, Virginia; two sisters, Dorothy M. Robinson of Stamford, Connecticut, and Mildred M. Hawkins of Charlottesville, Virginia; three sisters-in-law, Lethonia Mason of Stamford, Connecticut, and Oneida Mason and Roberta Mason, both of Charlottesville, Virginia; one granddaughter-in-law, Glenda C. Brooks; two great -grandchildren, Jesus J. Cavanaugh of Charlottesville, Virginia, and Angelique J. Cavanaugh of Woodbridge, Virginia; a favorite niece, Marie "Fluffy" R. Hudson of Cleveland, Ohio; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will take place 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 7, 2007, at Mount Zion Baptist Church.
Hill and Wood Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
