I worked with Jake for the past 2 years. In that time he became like a little brother to me, or even my adopted work son. Anytime I walked into work and I knew Jake was going to be there it made me smile because he always knew how to make me laugh. Even in the most stressful situations, he had something witty and sarcastic to say to lighten the mood. I will miss his free spirit, and his smile. He had the best smile. My prayers go out to his family, and I will cherish the memories I have with Jake.

Jake always knew how to make me laugh. His energy was contagious and his heart was always kind. I worked with him for 2 years and I´ll never forget the day I met him, we became friends instantly. We lived down the street from one another and always had so much fun together. Jake was one of those special people that you could call up and he would be down to go on an adventure or just to simply go with you to run your errands. If you were going through something, he would be there instantly and without a question. He showed up for the people he loved, no matter what. There was never a dull moment in our friendship and I will cherish those memories. His memory will always be a blessing to me. I will miss you forever, my friend.
My heart and thoughts go out to his family.

I worked with Jake at Whole Foods for a while. He was such a sweet and funny guy to be around. His passing definitely hurt my heart but I know heaven gained an angel. Praying for his family and close friends.

Jake was one of my former students and an absolute joy! He brightened up a classroom whenever he walked I. One memory the first week of school was that I could not remember his name. The next day he wore in a red shirt and looked at me and said, "Mrs Cave just think of me as Jake from State Farm," I always knew his name after.

A friend of mine in close contact with Jake during his childhood described him as a sweet boy. He definitely was that-
I saw this sweet boy develop into a handsome young man. My wife Amy and I are heartbroken and convey our condolences to Jake´s family and friends.
Our thoughts and prayers to Jake´s mother Angie, his father Ned, his sister McKenzie, Ned´s wife Kathy and her children, Jake´s aunt Lori and aunt Lynn and her children.
