Lucille Snow Obituary

Lucille S. Snow, 87, of White Hall departed this life to be with the Lord on February 27, 2008.

She was born on September 19, 1920, in Greene County, the daughter of the late Willie J. Shifflett and Betty Shifflett.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer, S. Snow; and two sons, Elmer " E.J. "Hank" Snow and James Snow, and one brother, Claude Early.

She is survived by seven children; Elvin Snow of Louisa, Virginia, Maxine and husband, Robert, Moneymaker of Ruckersville, Stephen E. Snow and his wife, Gwenda of Ruckersville, Faye and her husband, J.B, Runkle of Earlysville, Linda and her husband, Ronald, Marshall of Scottsville, Larry Snow of White Hall, and Lonnie Snow; and friend Frances of White Hall.

Also surviving are many grandchildren, great-grandchildren nieces and nephews.

Family would like to express their special thanks to Dr. Randall Morman and his staff of the Cardiologist Department, also, John Leiner with the University of Virginia Medical Center and special thanks to Betty VanClever..

Family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday, February 29, 2008 at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel in Crozet, Virginia.

A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, March 1, 2008, at Mt. Moriah Cemetery in White Hall with the Reverend Rick Clatterbuck officiating.

Anderson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
