Marjorie Marie Worley, 82, of Stanardsville, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born on January 20, 1940, in Charlottesville, Va., daughter of the late George Conley and Naomi Ruth Roach.
In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Worley; and sister, Georgianna Lam.
Marie is survived by her children, Patsy Knight (Alvis), Wayne Roach (Betty), Lorene Roach, Donnie Roach (Donna), Linda Morris (Joe Neil), and Lisa Taylor (Rodney); sisters, Ruby Collier and Helen Morris; grandchildren, Alvis Knight Jr., Keith Roach, Ozzie Roach, Jessica Roach, Michael Roach, Katelyn Wolfe, Brandon Morris, who she raised as her own, Chrissy Chu, Timmy Shifflett, and Heather Shifflett; great-grandchildren, Keira Roach, Kingston Roach, Kalaya Roach, Kalani Roach, Madelyn Roach, Olivia Roach, Kaidance Jenkins, Kiersten Jenkins, Lynnlee Wolfe, Eli Chu, and Ender Chu; and many other family members and friends.
Marie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. Marie retired from Crouse-Hinds after 30 years of service.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail, Ruckersville, VA 22968.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at Ryan Funeral Home with Pastor Wendell Lamb officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens.

I always enjoyed my visits with Marie. She was always warm and inviting. There would always be love and laughter in her house. She will be greatly missed by all of her family. My thoughts and prayers are with her family now. Take comfort in all your memories to get you through this difficult time.
