Marsha Frazier Obituary

Marsha Linda Frazier, 74, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2023, in Mineral, Virginia, at the home of her sister. Born in Washington, D.C., Marsha was the eldest child of Raymond and Concetta LoDolce Frazier.

In 1966, Marsha graduated from Smithtown Central High School in New York. Afterwards, she attended the City College of San Francisco and graduated with a degree in nursing in 1974. She began her career as an RN at San Francisco General Hospital. Marsha was a focused and compassionate nurse. She continued working part-time after retiring in 2019 until recent health challenges. She managed those health challenges with grace and a remarkable attitude.

Marsha was predeceased by her parents, Raymond "Ray" and Concetta "Connie" LoDolce Frazier; her husband, Edward "Eddie" Almodovar; her sister, Geraldine Frazier; and brother, Mark Frazier.

She is survived by her son, Sky Almodovar; her sisters, Ramona "Mona" Berry (Michael), Lily Ramsey (Steve), and Austine "Tina" Frazier; and her brother, Michael Frazier (Sheree).

Marsha was a loving and caring aunt to her nephews and nieces, and she held a special place in her heart for each one of them. Lee Michael Graves (Jaime), Tunya Broyles (Anthony), Anthony "Tony" LoDolce, Bithiah Zirkle, Daniele Zirkle, Rachell Bates (Neil), Michael A. Frazier, and Morgan Frazier (Sarah).

She is also survived by great nephews and nieces, Riley, Ella, and Ayden Graves; Joseph and Roslyn Casedonte; Tyairnin LoDolce; and Avé and Caesar Whalen. She also leaves behind many other beloved nephews, nieces and other family members.

She leaves behind her devoted friend Margaret Wikman, in addition to her family.

Marsha requested that she be cremated. A funeral mass will be held at a later date.

"You may be gone from our sight, but you are never gone from our hearts."
