Mary Anna Twyman, 75, of Culpeper, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 16 2017. Born on December 6, 1941, in Madison County, she was the daughter of the late Frank Delmar Knighting and Virginia Bell Berry Knighting. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Clarence Knighting. She is survived by her husband, Gabriel Harrison Twyman of Orange; two daughters, Connie Madden and husband, John of Herndon, Va. andGail Boley and husband, John of Gordonsville, Va.; two sisters, Leona Deane and husband, Wayne of Madison, Va. andCris Brown of Culpeper, Va.; five grandchildren, and13 great grandchildren. A graveside service was held 2 p.m. Sunday, February 19, 2017, at Oak Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery conducted by theRev. Perry Utz. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, 675 Peter Jefferson Parkway Suite 300, Charlottesville, VA 22911.
