She moved to Charlottesville, Virginia in 2003 and resided there until her death Monday, December 18, 2006. She was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Singletary LeBlanc; and her husband, Dr. Egi Victor Fasce.

She was a graduate of Louisiana State University, a member of the Phi Gamma Chapter of Chi Omega Sorority, and founder of Phi Gamma Chi Omega's Mother's Club. She had been a member of the Baton Rouge Women's Club, Study Club, Opera Guild, Baton Rouge Junior League, East/West Club, and charter member of The Harness Club.

She is survived by her two daughters, Alice Fasce Odom of Williamsburg, Virginia and Kay Fasce McKemie and son-in-law, George McKemie, of Palmyra, Virginia; three grandchildren, Gavin McKemie of Mesa, Arizona, Estelle McKemie Rempe of Rochester, New York, and Robert McKemie of Rhoadesville, Virginia; a brother, David Thomas of Sun City, Arizona; a sister, Terry Thomas Whipple of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; eight great-grandchildren; three nieces; and one nephew.

A graveside service for just family members at Roselawn Cemetery in Baton Rouge is planned for April of 2007, when all family members can attend.

The family wishes, in lieu of flowers, for donations to be made to a charity of their choice.

The family would like to express an appreciation to her friends at "Our Lady of Peace". The family especially wants to thank The Hospice of the Piedmont for their compassion and care during our time of need.

I'm Pat Caldwell's grand-daughter and I wanted you to know how very fondly I remember your mom. To this day, I remember her sparkling eyes and wonderful laugh which came so easily. Beautiful inside and out and I'm grateful that she and Pat were such great friends since that's how I knew her. I have delightful memories of going with my grandmother to visit Sarah and Egi at thier house on Hundred Oaks when I was a little girl. My heart is with you and I send my love. Liza
