Dear Sandy and family,

My prayers are with you all. Patty meant a lot to me and I know that she is watching over us all. She was a very special lady. She would always call to check on me when I should have been calling her. Her faith was tremendous and I only wish that I could be half the christian that she was. I hope you know that I am here for you whenever you need me. I love you all. Love, Denise and Ashley Carey

Sandy & Family,

May the Lord bless and keep you through this time of berevement.May you find comfort in knowing that Patti is in her NEW HOME singing and dancing. She was a woman of much faith and a woman that feared God. For Proverbs says "Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised." Patti was such a woman. May the Lord continue to bless and comfort you all.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

To the family,

I pray that God will sustain you as you pass through this valley. For the Word says, eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.And Patti has openly confessed her love for the Lord. May the memory of your daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, be as precious to you now as she was.

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

To Sandy and family

Words cannot express how I feel about the loss of Patti. Patti is now in her heavenly home. I will truly miss her she was always on the job as usher. I could always count on her to be at the door when I was late, she never complained about me not being on time. The smile and the greeting she would give when you walked in the church will truly be missed. Please don't forget that I won't be taking any more rolls home unless you can make me some. If I can do any thing for you or the rest of the family give me a call.

You are all in our thoughts and prayers. May the good memories of your mother comfort you at this difficult time. Although we never had the pleasure of meeting her, we've heard so many wonderful things about her. Knowing that she was a Christian and walked in the faith has to be a comfort to you as well.

Sandy and family,

We are all sadden by the lose of Patti. Words could not even explain how sorry we are. Patti was the nicest, honest, god fearing women I have ever known. She would do anything for anybody regardless of who you were. I can't believe that she is gone. But I know Patti is tired from dancing all around heaven for the last 2 days. She probably has on her dancing shoes and her legs are feeling good. I know she is sitting around talking and eating with the lord. She might even be making him some of those good rolls. And we all know how those rolls can bring a smile to your face. I guess Patti finally got her house. And I know it is better then any house she would have ever had here. From the bottom of our hearts we are sorry to hear about your loss. And if there is "anything" we can do please please please call us.

We love you and will miss you Patti.

May God bless you and your family in time of sorrow. All of you are in my prayers as well as the prayers of my family. You are all loved by so many and so was your mama. If there is anything you need please let us know. Again may God bless you all because he has certainly blessed your mama with the gift of all of you, the blessing of knowing him as her Lord and Savior and now the homecoming to him.
