Margaret Corbin Southard Margaret Corbin Southard 78, of Orange, died on Wednesday, January 29, 2014, at the Culpeper Health & Rehab Center. Born on January 15, 1936, in Orange, she was a daughter of the late John Robert and Josephine Ballard Corbin. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Bradley Southard Sr. Mrs. Southard was a member of the Rhoadesville Baptist Church. She is survived by a son, John Bradley "J.B." Southard Jr. of Orange; two daughters, Connie Southard Racine and husband, Bob, of Orange, and Diane Southard Richards and husband, David, of Unionville; a sister, Dorothy Cash of Lake Caroline, Virginia; six grandchildren, Allison Richards Snyder, Tim Melson, Brad Melson, Melissa Melson, Michelle Southard White, and Christopher Southard; six great-grandchildren; and her dog, Molly. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday February 1, 2014, in Graham Cemetery. The Reverend Nancy Stanton Mcdaniel will officiate. The family will recieve friends on Friday, January 31, 2014, from 6 until 7 p.m. at the Preddy Funeral Home in Orange. Preddy Funeral Home of Orange, is assisting the family with arrangements.
