Camille Ficcio (nee Averna), 78, of Mount Arlington, died on August 25, 2021.

A Funeral Mass will be offered Monday 11:30 am at St. Lucy's Church, Newark, NJ with entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
Born and raised in Newark, she lived in Bloomfield, then Chatham, and settled in Mt. Arlington about 16 years ago. For 35 years, she was a teacher at School 16 in Clifton School District. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading and taking day trips with her husband, Pat.
Pre-deceased by her parents, Thomas Averna and Mary (nee Palumbo) Averna and her brothers, Tommy Averna and Charles Averna.
Surviving is her beloved husband of 22 years, Pasquale J. Ficcio; devoted step-son, Thomas Ficcio and his wife Donna; cherished step-granddaughter, Sarah Telesmanic and her husband Nicholas; loving brother, Salvatore Averna and his wife Christine; dear sister-in-laws, Annette Averna and Muriel Averna.
