Caroline Forte Obituary
AGE: 98 • Madison
Caroline Forte, of Madison, died on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at the Brighton Gardens Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Florham park, she was 98 years old. Ms. Forte was born in Madison and was a life long resident. Caroline worked for the Carteret Savings Bank in Morristown, retiring many years ago.
Prior to this she worked as an insurance supervisor for Crum and Foster in Morristown and before that, Motor Club of America in Newark. She was predeceased by her siblings, Isabella Forte, Christopher, Daniel, Joseph and John Forte and is survived by nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral Monday, April 20, at 9am from the Madison Memorial Home 159 Main St. Madison with a funeral mass at 10am at St. Vincent Martyr Church, Madison. Interment St. Vincents Cemetery. Visitation Sunday 2-5pm. In lieu of flowers donations to the Madison Volunteer Ambulance Corp in her memory would be appreciated.

I worked with Caroline at the beginning of my career in the insurance industry with C&F in 1978. She had the task of teaching underwriting trainees the fundamentals of policy rating at a time when this was a manual process. I still call on the fundamentals and skills she taught me in my current job responsibilities. Caroline was a wonderfully patient, kind and intelligent woman. I am glad that God granted her a long life.
My condolences to her family and friends.
