Claire Miller Obituary
AGE: 76 • Wharton
Claire Miller (nee Chabot), 76, passed away after a long illness at Regency Grande Nursing Center, Dover. Born to the late Charles and Margaret Chabot (nee Lyons) in Wharton. She lived her entire life in the Wharton/Dover area. Mrs. Miller was a school crossing guard in Dover for over 20 years, retiring in 1998.
Claire cherished the time spent with her children and grandchildren. She could often be found at one of their sporting events. She volunteered countless years of service to the Dover Little League and the Dover High School Football and Wrestling Booster Clubs. She was also a member of the Wharton Senior Citizens.
Pre-deceased by her brothers: Richard and Charles as well as her sisters: Theresa Moylen and Peggy Komar. Survived by her children: James (Lori Ann) of Verona; Jackie Young (Kevin) of Roxbury; Catherine Inskeep (Chris) of Long Valley; Glenn (Tammy) of Long Valley. Her Grandchildren: Nicole Miller and Andrea Krushefski; Kyle, Connor and Kelsey Young; Lily, Derek and Megan Inskeep; Tyler, Zachary and Karissa Miller. Sister Helen Heron of Lititz, PA. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, May 27th, 4-8pm at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St., Wharton. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday 10:30am at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Dover. In lieu of flowers, donations in Claire's memory to the Dover HS Football Booster Club, 100 Grace St., Dover, NJ 07801 Attn: Sean Bullock would be appreciated.
