Edward Makowski Obituary
Whippany - Edward J. Makowski, 67, of Whippany, passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at the Morristown Medical Center following a long illness.
He leaves his wife of 43 years, Linda (Lasalandra) Makowski; his son, Edward Makowski and his wife Marina and their two daughters Izabella and Francesca; sister, Theresa (Makowski) Yuzuik and her husband Robert and their sons Thomas and Robert; brother, John Makowski and his wife Mary and their son Paul.
Born to Edward and Carmella Makowski, Ed was raised in Whippany where he was a lifelong resident.
Ed loved spending time first and foremost with his loving family, especially his cherished granddaughters. His hobbies included all manner of sports, fishing, and collecting old memorabilia.
He was a member of the first graduating class of Whippany Park in 1969, where he lettered in football and track.
A visitation will be held Thursday, December 13, 2018 from 4- 8 pm at Bradley Braviak Funeral Home, 49 Whippany Rd., in Whippany. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday December 14, 10:00 am, Notre Dame of Mt. Carmel Church, Cedar Knolls with burial to follow at Holy Rood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cedar Knolls Rescue Squad, Whippany and Cedar Knolls Fire Departments are appreciated.
