Although I never met you, I only knew of you, I had an affection for you just because you were the brother of someone I care for in this life. Your departure has left me heavy-hearted and grieved... and my love for that special one and those who remain only grows deeper as I express this through prayer and meditation for the comfort and well-being of those who have lost you in this life. For you as well as my friend Gina Z. who also left earth the exact same day as you did, I press on and will carry a message you and she can agree, and hopefully blessings will come to those in my sphere of influence as I continue in this ministry assigned to me in bringing comfort, compassion, and understanding as I, through empathy and understanding make myself an instrument to bind up the wounds of the brokenhearted, help set the captive free, open the eyes of the blind and the ears of the deaf speaking the truth in love as an Ambassador to the still sick and suffering in and out of the rooms... Peace...for you and ALL of your family. I will honor your life in my walk. As the message burns in my heart to plea...and as For me " ; " is MORE important NOW than ever as I identify with my fellow travelers. Love in the Eternal, Ed...you won't be forgotten. I promise.

We were junior members of the Mountain Lakes Fire Department in the 1970s and I remember his kindness and quick smile. Rest in peace Eddie. My condolences to the Tripp family.
