Sister Francois was a wonderful teacher & had a beautiful smile that would light up the room. She was very kind to me, especially when I made a mistake. She guided me into taking a different course. After graduation in 1963 I met her in downtown Paterson. She was very interested to hear about my job search. She actually said she would call & see if this one Company had called needing a typist. She called me later that day to tell me she set up & interview with a Brokerage Firm in down town Paterson. That surely was a blessed day for me. I became a Teletype operator sending buy & sell orders right down to the NYSE! I called her & thanked her for her kindness & told her I loved the job & she was so happy for me. Seeing her at our 50th class reunion, we all huddled around her and she was just as excited to see us as we were to see her again!! God Blessed her with 90 yrs of helping others. I can just see her beautiful smile shinning up in Heaven!!! God rest her soul.

Sr. Jacqueline was a lady. A religious lady of the highest degree. A person of extraordinary skill, courage and determination. When she introduced the Office of Ministry at the College, she saw it taking a lead in the State for training men and women in all areas of ministerial life. To that end she offered scholarship money, made Certificate programs available to the Hispanic Community and always participated in the graduation programs.

She was a compassionate individual who know the values that the Sisters of Charity were committed to and lived by. Her death leaves all of us suffering a void hard to fill. Let us rejoice with her as she enters the Communion of Saints we proclaim in the Creed.

Jacqueline is my second cousin removed. I am very sad to learn of her passing. She was one of the brightest women I have ever met. Her intellect, wit, and love was remarkable.

I had a few conversations with her in the last few years, and regret not seeing her more.

My deepest sympathies to her immediate family.

Sister Jacqueline considered herself a member of our CSE Class of 1957. I had many opportunities to interact with her -- a fine woman, an inspiration and example for us all.
