John Grenevich Obituary

JOHN F. GRENEVICH AGE: 91 BOONTON John F. Grenevich, 91, died peacefully at Merry Heart Care Center, Boonton Twp., on Tuesday morning, July 20, 2010. Born in Luzerne County, PA, he had benn a resident of Boonton for the past 16 years. Prior to his retirement in 1982, he had been a self-employed mason. He was predeceased by his wife, Rose (Mariani) Grenevich; his sons, Frank and John; his sisters, Sophie, Stella, and Anne; and brothers, Joseph, Edward, and Anthony. He is survived by his sons, Joseph of Askam, PA, Theodore of Nanticoke, PA, and Anthony of Lake Hopatcong; his daughters, Lisa Grenevich of Orlando, FL, Lynn Brandt of Henaker, NH, and Theresa Grenevich of Nanticoke; as well as 15 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services from Lewis & Carey, Directors of Funerals, on Saturday morning, July 24, at 10:00am, to be followed by his Liturgy of Christian Burial to be celebrated at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Boonton, at 10:30am. Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home, 312 W. Main St., Boonton, on Friday evening, from 7-9pm, and again on Saturday morning, from 9-10am.

Tony and Family,

I am sorry for your loss of your Father, Uncle & Grandfather to all of your family.
He was a tuff guy on the outside with a very sensitive interior. He was a good guy.
