JOHN M. LOFTUS AGE: 72 VIRGINIA BEACH, VA John M. Loftus, 72, passed away Thursday, November 19, 2009. John was born in New York on February 20, 1937. John proudly served his country in the United State Navy as well as the Korean War. He was also involved in the American Legion. He is survived by his loving wife, Augusta Loftus of Virginia Beach; children, John Loftus, Paul Loftus both of Virginia Beach, VA., Brenda Roff and husband John of Hackettstown NJ., and Raymond Loftus of Virginia Beach, VA; 2 grandchildren, J.R. Roff and Kyle Roff; siblings, Jerry Loftus, Marty Loftus, and Joan Cooney all of Long Island, NY. He will be greatly missed. The service will be on Monday, November 23, 2009 at 1:00PM in Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, 5310 Milner's Road, Suffolk, VA. In lieu of flowers, donation may be send to Sentara Hospice, 535 Independence Parkway, Suite 200, Chesapeake, VA. 23320.
