Dover - Friends would like to note the passing of Jove Rama Antoniadis on January 26th 2018 at 90 years of age. He was pre-deceased by his long time companion Ruby Devereux. Rama as he was known, was born and raised in Dover NJ. He attended Dover Public Schools and went on to enroll in The Julliard School Of Music where he studied Violin and Conducting. During this period he became an apprentice to Allen Fontaine a noted New York City photographer. Although his love for music never died, he found his life's passion in photography. He bcame a sought after commercial photographer creating Celebrity Promotional Portraits and Album Covers for: Liza Minnelli; Tom Jones; Placido Domingo; Dion; Leslie Gore; The Animals; The Dave Clark Five; The Byrds; Herman's Hermits and many more. He was the In-House still photographer for the 1960s hit TV Music Show Hullabaloo, and also did an array of product ads that appeared in the major magazines of the day. Rama left the hectic New York commercial scene in the 1970s to concentrate on his personal vision, which he pursued through his love of nature and it's unending variations. He traveled the USA and the World extensively with camera in hand producing a vast portfolio of images for posterity. His photographs were represented in the Prestigious Galleries of The Old Print Shop, NYC. Above all he was a faithful friend and an inspiration to all who loved him.
