AGE: 23 • Boonton
Kevin R. Tims, 23 of Boonton died suddenly on Saturday April 30, 2016 at Saint Clare's Hospital in Denville.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday May 4, 2016 from 3-7 PM. Cremation will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to Dangler Lewis & Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main Street in Boonton. Letters of condolence may be posted at danglerlewisandcareyfuneralhome.com. In Lieu of flowers donations in Kevin's name may be made to Make A Wish Foundation 1347 Perrineville Road Monroe Township, NJ 08831.
Born in Morristown, Kevin was a lifelong resident of Boonton. Kevin was a Computer installer for Spartec Solutions in Dover. He graduated from Boonton High School where he excelled for the Bombers in wrestling, football and baseball.
Kevin was the beloved son of Lisa Ann Tims (nee Lopez) and Kevin J. Tims. Loving brother of Nicholas and Alex. Cherished grandson of Joan Tims. Dear great nephew of Ralph Lopez Jr. Devoted nephew of Sharon and Gene McDonald, Ralph and Mary Sharon Lopez, Denise and Scott Robinsky, Donna Lopez, Pam and Dave Carter, and Karen and Neal Healy. He was also survived by many cousins. He will be truly missed by his dog Cannoli.

My sincere condolences to the Tims family on the loss of your son and brother. I remember Kevin as a hard worker and loyal friend to his peers. He was protective of his brothers. I enjoyed my class with him. He was a delight to teach and had a great sense of humor. Nick and Alex, keep your brother's memory alive and lead your life in a way to make him proud. Kevin was like another big brother to me. He protected me through out middle and high school and never let anyone push me around. You truly remember the way people made you feel and I will always remember him making me feel like a little sister. He always kept me laughing and I will never forget how good of a person he was.
