Luz Plog Obituary
AGE: 70 • Hopatcong
Luz "Lucy" Idalia Plog, of Hopatcong, died Sunday, December 30 at her home. She was 70. Born in Santurce, Puerto Rico, Lucy resided in the Landing section of Roxbury prior to moving to Hopatcong 20 years ago. She was the former co-owner, with her late husband, Richard of Temp-Control of Randolph. Lucy also worked as a secretary for Alliance Imaging of Morristown.
Lucy is survived by her devoted spouse Robert Hill, her loving children Frederick Plog and wife, Katherine, Michele Nenadovic and husband, Nick, Jennifer Flemming and the late David Plog, dearest sister of Jimmy Cruz, Ann Allan and Olga Hernandez and adoring grandmother of nine grandchildren and one great grandson.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to Lucy's Life Celebration on Thursday, January 3rd from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, Landing, NJ. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, January 4th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Jude's RC Church in Hopatcong. Interment will follow at Russian Orthodox Convent Cemetery, 100 Smith Road, Nanuet, NY 10945. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Carol G. Simon Cancer Center, The Foundation for Morristown Medical Center, 475 South Street, Morristown, NJ 07960. We have lost a beautiful person, but heaven has gained an angel. Lucy was always Lucy and she will be missed by many. I can just imagine the havic that she is creating up there-rearranging the clouds into a dance floor and catching-up with all of our other family members that have gone before her. Our thoughts, prayers and love are always with Bob, Fred and Michele.
