Margaret Perkalis Obituary
AGE: 77 • Morristown
Margaret "Peggy" Perkalis died on Sunday, May 31, 2015, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was 77. Born in Morristown, she was a lifelong resident. She was a graduate of Morristown High School, Class of 1956. Peggy was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Paul Perkalis, Sr., retired Morristown Police Sergeant and her son, Paul Perkalis, Jr. of Succasunna, NJ. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters; Joseph Swetz; Robert Swetz and wife, Betty; James Swetz; Jackie Quinn and husband, Mike; Nancy Hogan; Diane Crossan, her grandchildren, Michelle and Kristen, her great granddaughter, Olivia Grace and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of the Assumption, Morristown, NJ on Friday at 10:00AM. Entombment Holy Rood Cemetery. Hours of visitation at the Doyle Funeral Home (www.doylefh.com) 106 Maple Ave., Morristown, NJ on Thursday from 4-8PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Peggy's memory to the Morris Minute Men PO Box 192, Morris Plains, NJ 07950.
