Margaret Ribnicky, 89, of Oak Ridge, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2014 at home with her family by her side. Mrs. Ribnicky was born on November 23, 1924 in New York City to Amelia (nee Schneider) and James Kilkenny. She married George Ribnicky in 1941 and together they raised their four sons in Jefferson Township. Mrs. Ribnicky was a parishioner of St. Thomas the Apostle RC Church in Oak Ridge, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister for many years as well as a Trustee of the church. She will best be remembered for her devotion to St. Thomas the Apostle RC Church and her love for her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and her many friends.

Mrs. Ribnicky was predeceased by her beloved husband, George in 2008, and her dear sisters, Catherine, and Grace. She is survived by her loving sons, George, Michael, James, and Thomas; her cherished grandchildren: Paul, Kristen, and Mark; Brian and Steven; David and Emilee, and Amy, Thomas Jr., and Robert; her adored eight great grandchildren and her dear sister, Matilda Kilkenny.

The family will receive visitors on Thursday, July 3, 2014, from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the Stickle-Soltesz Funeral Home, 187 La Rue Road, Newfoundland, NJ 07435 (GPS use 1 Post Place). The funeral mass will take place on Friday, July 4, 2014 at 9:30 am at St. Thomas the Apostle RC Church, 5635 Berkshire Valley Road, Oak Ridge, NJ 07438. Mrs. Ribnicky will be interred beside her husband immediately following the funeral mass in St. Thomas the Apostle Cemetery, adjacent to the church.
