My 9th grade teacher at Morris Township Junior High in 1964 was Mrs. Nancy Lynch Castelano. She read to us every day. She opened my mind to reading many kinds of books. She was truly an inspiration. Some on the books she read to us were: The Jungle by Upton Sinclair, Many Edgar Allan Poe stories, Huckleberry Finn and Tom Sawyer, The Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemingway and many others. She was my favorite of all my English teachers. She will be missed.

I taught with Nancy for many years at Frelinguysen School where she was the Dept. Chair of English. She was by far a role model and an inspiration to staff and students. She was a true Educator and a wonderful person. She will be missed by all. She will remain in our hearts and memory forever!
We love you, Nancy!
